In this year the private trading company Hans Oesch was founded in Rheinfelden. The company specialized in the sale of hairsprings for watches and for measuring instruments as well as leather for watch straps.
History
More than 30 years of experience in the watch industry
The founder and owner of the company, Hans Oesch, has been in the watch industry for over 30 years. Firstly as manager for a hairspring manufacturer and later as a leather supplier for watch straps, he is semi-retired but still partly active in the company.

1986
A diversification followed with buckles for watch straps produced mainly in Germany but also in France and Switzerland. The following 10 years were characterized by the continually increasing sales figures. Well-known watch firms and watch strap manufacturers in Switzerland and adjoining countries were supplied.

1996
A further milestone in the history and development of our company was the purchase and renovation of an old farm house in Magden – our new headquarters.

1997
Due to the changes that had taken place over the past years the private trading company Hans Oesch was transformed into the Oesch GmbH (PLC) and obtained its present legal status.

1998
The development over the last few years caused important changes within the watch industry as well as within our company. This new situation brought us into contact with companies in the Far East – a new decade began.

2000
Our sales program was again extended to include deployment buckles for leather watch straps.

2003
Our assortment was upgraded and further increased with buckles and deployment buckles in precious metals produced in Germany upon request.

2004
After 25 years activity we were now represented online with our new website.

2005
With the entry of Michel Oesch, son of the company's founder in the company, the 2nd Generation was launched.

2007
Michel Oesch took over the company and the course was set for the future.

2008
We enlarged our product range with "accessories for the watch and leather goods industry".

2010
The new building was completed and we moved into our offices in the "Adlerstrasse no. 25" in the year of our silver jubilee.

A short film (in German) presented the company, our team and the new offices. In the latest edition of the magazine SWISS LABEL HORLOGERIE an interview was written.
